At Reed & Barton, this trend is particularly inspiring for us because, of where we are located. The Reed & Barton complex is located in a mill town. We love drawing inspiration from our own facility that has been around since the early 1800’s and has its fair share of industrial elements scattered about. The exposed brick, architectural details, and metallic finishes seen all around are what became the foundation of the modern industrial design aesthetic.

For this look we used items from our silver link collection as the modern elements. The chain-link’s are very industrial, but in this collection they are used in a very modern and versatile way! For the industrial component we incorporated an old reclaimed wood desk, an industrial stapler, and an assortment of worn vintage books. We loved the synergy of old and new that these items created with each other. The look creates a wonderful balance that visually intrigues you without over stimulating.
